Demon Slayer Infinity Fortress Arc To Be Adapted Into Trilogy Movie
The most celebrated and record-breaking anime franchise of this generation, Demon Slayer is reportedly gearing up to continue its cinematic journey with a thrilling trilogy of movies based on the highly anticipated “Infinity Fortress” arc from the original manga by Koyoharu Gotouge.
According to a reliable Weibo leaker, the producers at Studio Ufotable are in talks over a film adaptation of the biggest arc of the series, “The Infinity Fortress”. Whether it will be a trilogy of movies or a single film is unknown. This revelation comes as the anime world eagerly awaits the next installment in the Demon Slayer saga.
As per leaks, the production team at Studio Ufotable is allegedly developing the Demon Slayer’s Infinity Fortress trilogy film, building upon the success of the previous installments. While there’s no confirmation about the details, the news should be taken with a grain of salt until the officials say anything.
The Infinity Fortress arc marks the beginning of the thrilling battle between the Hashiras and Muzan’s platoon eventually setting the stage for the final showdown of the anime series. As a fourth season of Demon Slayer is also on the way, it would be too early to say when the supposed trilogy film will drop in theatres.
The previous Demon Slayer film, “Mugen Train,” became a box office sensation, grossing over $500 million worldwide, and with its compelling storyline and epic confrontations, it’s no surprise that “Infinity Fortress” is poised to continue its reign.
