Titled “Demon Slayer – To the Hashira Training”, it is the third feature film of the anime franchise. The movie acts as a compilation film of the anime series, incorporating footage from the final episode of the third season and the one-hour first episode of “Hashira Training Arc” which is set to broadcast in the spring of this year.
The Hashira training opening episode contains filler to start it off showing a 5-minute anime original sequence featuring the wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa and serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro. They’re on a mission to destroy a group of demons alongside two other volunteers.
While fighting these demons, the two Hashiras come across the infinity castle for the first time but don’t get the chance to enter it. The film also exhibits Sanemi’s wind breathing and Obanai’s snake breathing, blessing the fans quite early with their styles which will later be seen in the Infinity Fortress arc.
