A Boy Manages To Prevent Fire Thanks To Fire Force Anime
Anime can also help in saving a life, no one ever had imagined that. But, it did happen in Japan where a teenage boy prevented a fire-broke just because of the knowledge from an anime series, Fire Force.
On September 29, Kagoshima City Central Fire Department presented a letter of appreciation to Sakuramasa Kawazu (18), who was the first to discover the fire and contributed significantly to the prevention of its spread.
According to the reports, a fire broke out in a two-storey wooden house on August 15. Kawazu, on his way to a convenience store, noticed the flames coming out of the entrance and called 119.
Afterwards, he ringed the doorbell and knocked on the door to inform a woman in her 70s who lived alone. Due to Kawazu’s significant information, a woman who was about to go to bed extinguished herself.
On asking Kawazu about this incident, he said, “I was watching an anime program in which firefighters were active, so I was able to calmly deal with it.” The chief of the fire department thanked him and felt grateful for the anime shows like Fire Force.
Fire force is a story about people with fiery hearts fighting fire with fire. Set in a world where people spontaneously combust and turn into mindless burning zombies.
