One Piece Latest PV Shows Straw Hat Crew Like Never Before
More than two decades have passed since Eiichiro Oda’s timeless masterpiece One Piece, but it doesn’t stop surprising the fans with its plot twists and over-the-top commercials. While the manga is wading through its final act, the franchise has dropped a never-seen-before look at Straw Hat’s journey ahead of its Volume 108 domestic release.
The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Eiichiro Oda’s staff posted a promotional video to commemorate the release of One Piece Volume 108 in Japan. Unlike other commercial PV’s, this new promo of the series reimagines classic moments from One Piece but in a wild art style similar to a parody meme.
Eiichiro Oda teamed up with his favorite artist, Kawaisouni, to give the Straw Hat crew an unthinkable makeover. The collaboration has gifted fans with a cursed yet funny promo and they are indeed loving it. One Piece Volume 108 has hit the shelves in Japan and international release dates will soon be announced as well.
Needless to say, One Piece fans are having the best time of their life at the moment with the series recently winning the “Best Continuing Series” award and “Best Main Character” award for Monkey D. Luffy at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024 which was held in Tokyo, Japan.
