Kentaro Miura’s Berserk manga is set to resume in the next issue of Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine. The publication announced on Friday that a new chapter of the late author’s iconic series will be released next month.
The manga has been on hiatus for three months, with the previous chapter published in November 2024. According to the latest issue of Young Animal, Berserk chapter 379 will be released on February 14 and will feature a front-page color lead.
Additionally, a major announcement is set to accompany the release of the new chapter. The magazine preview for the fourth issue teases: “The long-awaited latest chapter! Rakshas suddenly appears in the Kushan lands, causing carnage as he closes in on Guts…! Plus, a major announcement!!”
Berserk began serialization in 1990 under Kentaro Miura. After Miura’s passing in May 2021, the manga has continued under the supervision of his long-time friend and fellow mangaka, Kouji Mori, along with Studio Gaga. The series entered a new arc in September 2023 with the release of chapter 374.
