‘Aoashi’ New Football Anime Release Date And Trailer Released
New sports manga based on football, Aoashi is getting an anime adaptation in April 2022. The manga series is written & illustrated by Yūgo Kobayashi and Production I.G. will be the in-charge of the animation.
To commemorate this news with their fans, Production I.G. released a new key visual and a trailer as well. Aoashi is scheduled release in April 2022 and will be broadcast on NHK E-Tele.
On the official website of Aoashi, the details about the staff members & cast are posted. The director of Aoashi, Yo Sato commented on this big news saying he will try not to destroy its goodness.
“When I first read the work Aoashi, it was a difficult subject of soccer, but I thought it was a very nice work with many unique character relationships. Would like to make the best use of it so as not to destroy its goodness, but l also want to bring out the heat and muddy odour and incorporate it into the picture well.

Synopsis
Set in the soccer J-League youth team, the new anime “Aoashi” depicts the youth of high school students struggling to become professionals.
Ashito Aoi is a young, aspiring soccer player from a backwater town in Japan. His hopes of getting into a high school with a good soccer club are dashed when he causes an incident during a critical match for his team, which results in their loss and elimination from the tournament. Nevertheless, he catches the eye of someone important who happened to be visiting from Tokyo. How will things turn out for Ashito?
The long-awaited series animation of “The Hottest Soccer Manga”, Aoashi has won the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award for the general public and has exceeded 9 million manga copies in total. And after this announcement, fans are looking forward to its release.
