Mother Filed A Complaint, After Finding Her Son Watching World End Harem
Anime content has become a matter of concern these days. Higher organizations are keeping an eye on what is being broadcasted and what is good for the audience. A similar case came into the limelight a few days back when a parent complained about the ongoing erotic thriller anime series, World’s End Harem.
According to a complaint filed on Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization (BPO), a mother showed concern about the sexual content of World’s End Harem. She accidentally found his high school son watching the anime late at night. BPO is a website for Japanese citizens to complain about TV shows.
The complaint included some harsh & critical comments by the parent. Check out the complete statement below:
“I was surprised to see the anime that my high school son was watching late at night in hiding, it’s not something that should be playing on TV. Sexual intercourse, no contraception, insemination, harassment.
Women are not childbearing machines. It is disrespectful to women. The nude scenes, it has black censorship, but it still feels uncomfortable.”
This is not the first time a complaint has been filed against an anime or television series. There are several classic complaints posted on the official website of BPO. Anime like Madoka Magica, Redo of Healer, Ishuzoku Reviewers, HigeHiro and even Demon Slayer has also been come on the radar for showing sexual content.
World’s End Harem is set in the future where an epidemic of a strange disease kills thousands of men, leaving only 5 men and all the women alive on Earth. To control the situation, the government forces these 5 remaining men to have sex with the women to get them pregnant and have more children in the future.
