Overlord Season 4 Release Date & New Trailer Revealed
The official website of the Overlord anime series has finally revealed the premiere date of the fourth television series of the anime adaptation. A new promotional video has also been released by the franchise with a set premiere date of July 2022, on the Japanese TV network.
During the special live-event program, the makers of the series confirmed that Overlord Season 4 will start broadcasting from July 2022, on Tokyo MX, BS11 and other Japanese television networks. The animation production released a second promotional video as well. Check out the official trailer below.
Naoyuki Itou is returning for the fourth season of the series meanwhile, Yukie Sugawara is handling the series composition. Satoshi Tasaki will design the character sketches for the anime series. Studio Madhouse will be in charge of the animation production of Overlord Season 4.
Overlord is based on Kugane Maruyama’s light novel series which received an anime adaptation in July 2015 and aired for 13 episodes. The second anime television series premiered in January 2018 followed up by another season in the same year. The franchise will also have an anime film project that will cover the Holy Kingdom Arc story of the novel.
