Harry Potter Rip-Off “Mashle: Magic And Muscles” Anime Will Air In 2023
The anime community is lately getting bombarded with new announcements every week and adding more to it another popular Shōnen Jump manga is ready to be adapted into an anime television series. Written by Hajime Komoto, “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” is getting an anime adaptation and a release date has also been decided for Mashle anime.
The news about the Mashle anime release date has been circulating in the Twitter community and this Sunday morning one of the most trusted anime news providers, @WSJ_manga confirmed on the official Twitter account that “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” would be receiving an anime with a release window of 2023. An official announcement will be made in the next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump which will be out on July 4th, 2022. According to rumours, Aniplex will handle the project of the upcoming Mashle anime and more details regarding the production will be shared with the fans during the AnimeExpo 2022 panel. For now, it can be said for sure that Mashle anime is going to air in 2023, so be prepared for the “Harry Potter and One Punch Man” mash-up.
What Mashle Anime Is About?
Written and illustrated by Hajime Komoto, Mashle has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since January 2020. The manga has sold over 3 million copies worldwide and is one of the most popular new-gen manga. Set in a magical world in which an individual’s position within society is defined by the power of and skill with magic, Mash Burnedead is a young man without so much as an ounce of magic in his blood.
In order to live a peaceful life with his adoptive father, Regro, Mash will need to become a Divine Visionary, a title which is only given to exceptional students from the Easton Magic Academy. Despite having no magic whatsoever, Mash goes to the magic school, determined to survive and show the world that muscles can beat magic.
