Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Trailer, Release Date And Synopsis
Studio Mappa’s most successful show in recent years, Jujutsu Kaisen will be returning this summer on the television screens. The dark fantasy anime will be coming with its second season in July 2023 and to commemorate this news, a new trailer of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has also been released.
On Sunday, the officials at Studio Mappa uplifted the brand new trailer of the upcoming season of Jujutsu Kaisen along with a new opening. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 opening theme song titled “Ao no Sumika” will be performed by Tatsuya Kitani. The ending theme song “Akari” will be done by Soushi Sakiyama.

A release date for the sequel has also been set and it would be a part of the summer 2023 roster. The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will premiere on July 6th, 2023 on the biggest anime streaming platform, Crunchyroll. The main staff and cast from the first season will return to reprise their role.
Anna Nagase and Takehito Koyasu will join the voice-acting cast as Riko Amanai and Toji Fushiguro, respectively. Sunghoo Park will also be replaced by Shota Goshozono as the director of the second season. The rest of the crew remains the same as of writing this article.
Synopsis
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will adapt Gojo’s Past arc of the manga, which follows Satoru Gojo’s time as a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. This arc will see Gojo and Geto’s escapades when they used to be best friends. As Jujutsu High students, they are tasked with the job of escorting and protecting a young girl named Riko Amanai.
The second season will also introduce some new characters to the audience, one of which is Toji Fushiguro. The Shibuya Incident arc, which centers on the events immediately following the end of the first season, will also commence in the upcoming sequel.
