The critically acclaimed open-world action role-playing game, Genshin Impact has taken the gaming world by storm since its debut. Following the popularity of this gacha game among fans, the developers at miHoYo announced an anime adaptation in collaboration with Studio Ufotable in 2022.
Being renowned for breathtaking animation and visually stunning imagery, Studio Ufotable is actively working on the Genshin Impact anime, building upon the success of previous works – “Demon Slayer” and “Fate” franchise. In fact, recent reports from industry insiders hint that the Genshin Impact anime will surpass its predecessors.

Genshin Impact anime will be a prequel story covering the Archon War Era of the Teyvat besides, it will also include scenes depicting the destruction of the Khaenriah period or the war between the gods. The anime is speculated to follow the journey of Aether and Lumine, recounting their adventures in the game’s vast world of Teyvat during the first year.
The collaborative effort of HoYoverse and Ufotable to bring the vibrant and intricate world of Genshin Impact to the medium will truly be a groundbreaking experience for the animation industry and it will be interesting to see how the studio brings the game’s world to life in the anime.
