How Many Episodes Will Be There In Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc?

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War release date is scheduled to be October 2022, any specific date is not decided yet but it will also be declared very soon. The final arc will serve as the 17th season of Bleach anime however, talking about how many episodes it will have is quite difficult to answer as nothing can be said right now until an official announcement arrives from the production about the episode count of Bleach anime sequel.

But, considering the number of chapters the final arc has to cover it looks like the series will be a long run. As ‘Thousand-Year Blood War Arc’ is comprised of more than 200+ manga chapters i.e. 20 manga volumes of Bleach (from 55-74) and if everything is going to be covered in the Bleach new season then you’re going to eat good stuff for a long time.

Synopsis

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War will serve as the final arc of the anime series and will deal with a new race of Reishi manipulating human mediums called Quincy. To maintain the balance of the hollow system, the Soul Society destroyed the entire race of Quincy 1000 years ago.

However, after various incidents involving Hollow disappearances and mass murders begin to take place, it comes into notice that Quincy’s are still alive. Led by their founder, Yhwach the Quincy starts gathering their power back and declares war against the Soul Society.

After hearing about the existence of Quincy, the Soul Society takes charge of the issue and gets prepared for a full-fledged war between the two factions that will decide the fate of the other dimensions and the Soul Palace itself.
