To Your Eternity is a fantasy manga series written by Yoshitoki Ōima who is best known for her previous work, A Silent Voice. The series is based on the theme of death and immortality and describes the journey of an ‘Orb of Light’, cast on Earth by an unknown person. At first, the orb takes the shape of a stone and then it takes on the shape of a dead wolf.
In this process, he meets a young boy living alone in the harsh cold weather. After the boy dies from an infected wound, the orb inherits the will and body of the boy and starts his journey to explore every part of the world to learn what it is to be truly human. Along the journey, he comes to encounter new people from whom he learns a variety of things necessary for survival in the living world.
