Chainsaw Man Part 2 New Chapter Introduces Hirofumi Yoshida As A Transfer Student
Chainsaw Man Part 2 has started serialization on Shueisha’s Jump+ app with a new chapter releasing weekly on Tuesday. The new chapter by Tatsuki Fujimoto is officially out now and it has already started trending on social media platforms. One of the most popular characters from Part 1, Hirofumi Yoshida has finally made an appearance in Chainsaw Man Part 2 and is looking chad as always.
Chainsaw Man chapter 99 titled “Two Birds” opened with Mikata waking up from a horrible nightmare. She finds her other half (or split personality) talking to her about the incident which caused the death of Mikata’s homeroom teacher and class president. Mikata’s other personality went on to describe how she’s now a part of her’s and is known as the “War Devil”.
On her way to school, Mikata bumps into a student who’s revealed to be the Octopus guy alias Hirofumi Yoshida. The War Devil asks him about the Chainsaw Man on which Yoshida clarifies that he is a transfer student and doesn’t know anything about the Chainsaw devil. Later on, Mitaka’s split personality asks Yoshida to become his boyfriend however, gigachad Yoshida rejects him in seconds.
By the end, Mitaka comes to accept her reality that she’s now possessed by the war devil who’s in search of Chainsaw Man so that she can go to war with him. The chapter ends with Yoshida meeting a new girl who seems to know him however, who is the girl is yet unknown. Moreover, Denji is yet to make an appearance in Chainsaw Man Part 2 so wait for the upcoming chapter next week.

Chainsaw Man Part 2 has started its serialization on Shueisha’s Jump+ app with the release of Chapter 98. After that, the manga will follow a weekly release schedule on the platform. The new chapter will be available to read on the official platforms of Viz Media and Manga Plus, with access to the entire catalog of Chainsaw Man requiring a subscription that currently costs new users just $1.99 a month.
However, fans can read the new chapter for free as both platforms allow users to read the first three and the latest three chapters of any manga for free, so you can read the newly released chapters of Chainsaw Man without getting a subscription.
