Chainsaw Man Part 2 Release Date Confirmed! Scheduled For Summer 2022

The news Chainsaw Man fans were waiting for has finally been shared with the fans as the creator of the manga series, Tatsuki Fujimoto has confirmed Chainsaw Man Part 2 release date with a brand new promotional video of the ongoing manga.

This big piece of news came for the fans during the Jump Festa 2022 where the creator of the series, Tatsuki Fujimoto and the editor Shihei Rin graced the Chainsaw Man stage with their presence. They talked about the past works and confirmed the release date of Chainsaw Man Part 2.

At the end of the stage, they lifted the upcoming project PV which featured the ‘Chainsaw Devil’ Denji in action after the massacre and at the end of the trailer we got a glimpse of Makima. Check out the trailer below.

As confirmed by Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man Part 2 will start serializing from early Summer 2022 in the Shonen Jump+ category. Moreover, the anime television series will also start broadcasting in 2022 but the date has not been announced yet.

How many episodes will be there in Chainsaw Man anime?

Except for the Chainsaw Man release date & cast list, MAPPA hasn’t confirmed the number of episodes the series will get. And, that’s the biggest concern for the manga readers & anime fans as of now.

Well, considering the popularity of the series, probably Chainsaw Man anime will have a total of 24 episodes which may or may not be divided into two different cours depending on the production.

How much manga part will be covered in the anime? That also depends on the production committee but as per the reliable sources, each episode of Chainsaw Man will cover approximately 2-3 chapters and if it turns out to be true then the anime will most likely end somewhere in the middle of Bomb Devil Arc.

Crunchyroll has acquired the streaming rights for the Chainsaw Man anime and it will be available on their official platform. So, as soon as the anime will be released premium users can watch this show on the mentioned sites.

Synopsis

Written & illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man follows the hectic life of a teenager Denji and his pet Pochita. Living in miserable conditions, Denji dreams of a happy and peaceful life, spending time with a girl he likes.

Far from reality, Denji gets involved in killing devils so that he can pay off his enormous debt. Using his pet devil Pochita as a weapon, he accepts any kind of job to earn a bit of cash. But, his luck runs out when he gets murdered by a devil on a similar job.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Pochita merges with Denji’s dead body and grants him the powers of a Chainsaw Devil. After acquiring the ability to transform his body parts into chainsaws, Denji uses his new skills to brutally dispatch his enemies.

His heroic action, catch the eyes of the strongest devil hunter, Makima and she offers Denji to work at the Public Safety Bureau as one of them. Now with the passion of winning Makima’s heart and living a normal life, Denji decides to face even the toughest of enemies and stop at nothing to achieve his simple teenage dreams.
