Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Movie Release Date and Teaser Revealed

Demon Slayer’s explosive finale is officially hitting the big screen! After months of intense speculation, Ufotable and Aniplex have finally announced the Infinity Castle movie release dates, setting the stage for the climactic showdown between the Hashira and Muzan.  

Confirmed as a three-part film trilogy, the first installment of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle will slice into Japanese theaters on July 18, 2025, with a global rollout (including the U.S.) yet to be announced. A brand-new promotional teaser has also been released.

The Infinity Castle arc, widely regarded as the manga’s most intense and lore-rich saga, sees Tanjiro and the Hashira facing off against Muzan and his Upper Moons in a labyrinthine battle. As excitement for the trilogy builds, Crunchyroll and Aniplex are actively promoting the movie, aiming for near-simultaneous worldwide premieres.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie promises to crank the stakes—and animation quality—to uncharted heights. To maximize the experience, the film will be released exclusively in IMAX theaters, ensuring fans witness the all-out battle in breathtaking, oversized detail.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with Akira Matsushima serving as character designer and chief animation director, the trilogy will adapt the Final Battle portion of Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga. This includes both the Infinity Castle and Sunrise Countdown arcs, bringing the anime to its epic conclusion.
