Demon Slayer Season 3 will follow up the journey of Tanjiro after the “Entertainment District Arc” and will feature the most awaited Upper Moon’s meeting with Muzan Kibutsuji.
In this arc, Tanjiro travels to the Swordsmith Village to replace his broken sword because Hotaru Haganezuka is tired of repairing it. Upon arrival, he is taken directly to the chief of the village where he gets to know that Hotaru went missing not so long ago. He then brings Tanjiro to the hot springs of the village, to help his body heal.
At the hot springs, Tanjiro runs into other Demon Slayer corps members including the ‘Love Hashira’ Mitsuri Kanroji, ‘Mist Hashira’ Muichiro Tokito and fellow demon slayer, Genya Shinazugawa. But soon, the Upper-Ranks Four and Five of the Twelve Kizuki launch a coordinated assault on the village.
In the absence of Zenitsu & Inosuke, Tanjiro joins the two Hashiras in a ferocious battle with the Upper-Ranks. With the beginning of the “Swordsmith Village Arc”, the story of Demon Slayer will start heading to the final saga where Tanjiro will confront Muzan once again.
