Demon Slayer Themed Airplane To Take Off Starting January 2022
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has become a popular anime franchise in the past couple of years and now, it is going to touch the heights of the sky as recently, ANA airlines announced a collaboration with the Demon Slayer company.
On Monday, All Nippon Airways (ANA) confirmed its latest collaboration with the Demon Slayer franchise and opened its official website for the local inhabitants. The Demon Slayer themed jet sky will begin flying on the domestic routes of Japan from late January next year.
The first special Demon Slayer airplane will feature the artworks of Zenitsu, Inosuke, Tanjiro and Nezuko on one side and an ink painting of Tanjiro on the other. In addition to the exterior design, other in-flight facilities will also be provided to the domestic passengers.
According to the official site of ANA, starting December 1 passengers will be served drinks in Demon Slayer designed paper cups. Moreover, customers will be able to purchase exclusive paper cups and menko cards for children.
For in-flight entertainment, all 26 episodes of Demon Slayer will be screened and its accompanying soundtrack, including 5 songs, will also be available as part of the video and audio programming.
On this occasion, Junko Yazawa, the senior vice-president of customer experience management and planning released a statement expressing his gratitude towards the series.
“We are excited to partner with Demon Slayer to generate excitement and share Japanese culture with a wider audience”.
Well, this is not the first time ANA has taken such an initiative. In 2013 as well, ANA collaborated with the Pokémon franchise and before that in 2012, it collaborated with globally hit sci-fi anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion.
