Fans Call Tokyo Revengers ‘Worst New-Gen’ After The Latest Manga Chapter Release
After a long wait of one week, Tokyo Revengers is finally back with its new manga chapter as Tokyo Revengers chapter 241 is officially out now on the legal manga distributing platforms. But, looking at the first most reviews from the readers, the news is not good. Seems like the fans are unhappy about the current storyline of the manga.
Written & illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers has entered into its final arc as stated by the author himself. Last week, the fans learn that Senju was a good friend of Mikey and Baji when they were still children. And now, it was almost time for fans to find out what went wrong between Senju and Mikey all those years back.
But, the new chapter of Tokyo Revengers turned out to be a total disaster as fans weren’t expecting such a weird backstory behind a serious conflict between both parties. The latest chapter revealed that the backlash between both the characters was because of a “toy plane”.
Yes, a toy plane. Sounds hilarious but that’s the truth. Tokyo Revengers chapter 241 titled ‘A forced smile’ started with the little chit-chat between Shinichiro and Takeomi. Suddenly, Mikey arrived at the scene with a toy aeroplane in his hands. Baji & Haruchiyo tried to play with it, but Mikey forbade them to touch it.
Later on, the panels showed the past of Haruchiyo and Senju’s household that how Haru always got scolded for the deeds done by Senju. Still, he never complained about it. After a while, Senju was shown at Mikey’s household where she was playing with the toy plane.
But, accidentally Senju broke the toy and falsely blamed it on Haru when Mikey asked her about the aeroplane. Things got a little heated up after this as Mikey beat Haru down very badly such that his mouth was torn off and he was full of blood covering his face to stop himself from crying.
The story then took a sharp turn as the scene was back to the current timeline and Senju was apologising to Takemichi for doing such a bad thing in past on which he comforted her by saying, “It’s not too late for Mikey. Let’s start over and turn over Kanto Manji Gang”.
After reading the chapter, the fans went on to social media and showed their disappointment by trending Tokyo Revengers and Mikey on Twitter. They showed their rage against the new chapter and called it trash. Some even called Tokyo Revengers the ‘Worst New-Gen’ manga.

Some fans are even proclaiming it to be the next ‘Fairy Tail’ as now the series is revolving only around friendship. The final arc is turning out to be boredom for a bunch of readers as they have fed up with the baseless plot of the manga. However, the supporters are still cheering up for their favorite manga.
Tokyo Revengers anime television series premiered in April 2021 and since then, the series saw a skyrocketing increase in its manga sales. The popularity of Ken Wakui’s manga reached new heights and in just a year it sold more than 30 million physical copies.
And, now the production has also confirmed that the franchise is returning with its second season in 2022 and the release date will be shared with the fans very soon. Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will cover the ‘Christmas Conflict Arc’ from the manga.
