Japan Airlines Recreates Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Opening Song
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 had all the elements one needs for a cinematic experience. The season was filled with some of the best iconic moments the series has to offer and to top it off, a catchy theme song. While the opening song of Season 2 made quite a buzz in pop culture, it’s going viral again for something really interesting and unique.
Japan Airlines (JAL) is known for its world-class travel experience but not long ago, the airline caught the attention of Jujutsu Kaisen fans over its latest TikTok video. Through its official social media account, the airline released a one-minute music video where its crew can be seen grooving to the beat of “SpecialZ”.
Captioned “we are…”, Japan Airlines re-created the scenery shots from the anime opening with all its pilots and flight attendants marching dramatically like the cast of the series. Following this, the video shot by the airlines went viral across different social media accounts, creating excitement and a stir among the fans.
However, this isn’t the first time airline businesses has paid a tribute to anime. In fact, Malaysian Airlines referenced Nanami’s beach scene from Season 2 in one of their marketing campaigns. Previously, “One Piece” and “Demon Slayer” have also collaborated with airline companies on several occasions.
Performed by King Gnu, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 opening theme song “SpecialZ” has crossed 55 million views on TOHO Animation’s official YouTube channel. Crunchyroll is streaming both seasons of anime with Japanese and English dubs. A third season focused on “Culling Game Arc” has also been announced.
