Japanese TV Network President Talks About Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Production
Jujutsu Kaisen franchise is delivering the best possible content to their fans in the year 2022 with a newly released movie and an upcoming video game in a few months. Meanwhile, the president of one of the pioneer TV Networks of Japan sparked the rumours of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 in an official statement about its production.
The President of Mainichi Broadcasting System Television (MBS TV), YĆichi Mushiaki revealed details about the future plans for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 during an online press conference held on Wednesday. During the interview, Mushiaki commented on the possible second season of Jujutsu Kaisen anime very soon.
In response to a question about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, MBS TV president Mushiaki stated, “At this time I’d like you all to wait for us to state a concrete plan. However, I think we can provide a development that will meet expectations.” This statement will provide a lot of relief to anime fans.
The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered in October 2020 and was listed for 24 episodes that went on to end its long run in March 2021. Crunchyroll licensed the series out of Japan and Netflix also streamed this series on their platform. An anime film titled ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’ also got released on Dec 24, 2021, in Japan featuring Yuta Okkotsu in the lead role.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will cover ‘Gojo’s Past Arc’ from the manga which will enlighten the fans with the belongings of Gojo in the past. It will highlight the bond between Gojo & Geto and a more in-depth analysis of Geto’s personality as well. The arc is small but full of action-packed battles and dark mysteries.
