Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267: Nobara Kugisaki Is Back
Shinjuku Showdown arc is reaching its climax, and we’re only a couple of chapters away from seeing how the series ends. In the meantime, the early leaks for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 have started surfacing on the internet and surprisingly enough, it sees the return of a major character from the series.
Chapter 267 begins with a flashback of Gojo talking to Yuta, as Yuta suggests feeding Sukuna’s finger to Rika so he can copy Sukuna’s Shrine technique. However, Gojo disagrees, pointing out that one finger wouldn’t be enough to replicate such a powerful technique.
Then it is revealed that to use a strong technique like Sukuna’s Shrine, a larger portion of his power is needed, and it must come from a significant part of his body. Yuta explains that he had to use Inumaki and Hana’s arms, which cannot be healed even with the Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT).
Mei Mei expresses concern that they can’t reveal this plan to Yuji, as Sukuna might sense it. To avoid this, they only inform Yuji of the essential details. The scene shifts back to the ongoing battle, where Sukuna realizes Yuji is missing two fingers and quickly deduces that Yuta was responsible for this, having used one of Yuji’s fingers to copy the Shrine technique.
Utahime explains that the finger serves as a binding vow, and utilizing the cursed technique was the only way to accomplish their plan. She then hints at someone who woke up a few hours ago. As Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 unfolds, we see Nobara standing tall, sporting an eye patch, ready to fight, and saying, “Smile up, boys!”
Nobara immediately jumps into action and uses “Resonance” on the finger. Yuji starts smiling as he sees Nobara, and she taunts him by saying, “How’s that for Oppappi, you dumbass!” With Sukuna distracted, Yuji charges in and strikes him with a Soul Dismantle. Though Sukuna takes the hit, he quickly retaliates, reminding Yuji that this isn’t over yet.
Sukuna warns him that he is way past his limits, and the excessive use of cursed energy will only backfire. The chapter ends with Yuji landing a punch squarely on Sukuna’s face and then charging up for another strike. As he delivers a powerful blow to Sukuna’s stomach, Yuji declares, “It’s time we end this!”
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 is set to be officially released on August 25 on the Shonen Jump+ app. With Nobara’s sudden comeback, it would be interesting to see how Gege Akutami will pen the climax of the current battle, leading the series towards what promises to be an epic and thrilling conclusion.
