Jujutsu Kaisen Movie Set To Release On Christmas: New Key Visual, Plot and Trailer

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 came to an end after a long run of 24 episodes. It entertained the fans very much and came out as one of the best anime of all time.

But, in its final episode, a really big announcement happened. In the post-credit scene, studio MAPPA announced a Jujutsu Kaisen movie which surprised a lot of fans.

Plot

Jujutsu Kaisen movie will be based on Volume 0 of the same series. This was a prequel story of the current storyline which took place a year ago before the start of the main story.

The story follows the journey of a mysterious boy, Yuta Okkotsu who possesses a Special Grade cursed spirit, Rika.

Due to this situation, he is enrolled at Jujutsu Tech where he trains hard enough to get control of his power. Maki, Panda and Inumaki help him in doing so.

Somehow, he comes to know about the truth behind his cursed spirit and he becomes used to it. But, Suguru Geto tries to steal this power from him and launches an attack on Jujutsu Tech to fulfil his desire.

For the rest of the story, you have to read Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 0 or just wait for the iconic Jujutsu Kaisen movie.

Jujutsu Kaisen Movie Release Date

Jujutsu Kaisen movie is going to release on the Christmas Eve of this year, i.e. December 24 as mentioned in the latest key visual released by Studio Mappa.

The release date was confirmed by Studio Mappa on the occasion of JujuFest 2021 which was held on June 13. More information related to the movie will be shared in future.
