Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date

Jujutsu Kaisen Season will start broadcasting from 2023 and will not be long enough considering other side projects of Studio MAPPA. So, most likely the new season will have at least 10-11 episodes to entertain the audience which means ‘Shibuya Incident Arc’ will be covered entirely in single season.

The staff will most likely remain the same as it was in the first season. Same voice actors will join the cast except for a few new inclusions depending on the introduction of new characters. And, like the first season, MAPPA will be in charge of animation production despite the fact they’re a little busier with Vinland Saga Season 2 as well.

What To Expect From Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2?

Studio MAPPA gave a very smooth ending to the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen however, it was slightly different from the manga readers perspective but, overall it was a good finish. In the end, we got to see some really amazing fight scenes and the promotion of 1st and 2nd years as a first-grade sorcerer.

In general, the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen covered a total of 64 chapters from the manga finishing the anime at the Death Painting Arc. So, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will continue from the manga and cover “Gojo’s Past Arc”. The arc will display the bond between Gojo & Geto and a more in-depth analysis of Geto’s personality as well.

Moreover, in this arc fans will be introduced to a new & interesting character, Toji Fushigoro. He is Megumi’s dad and has an important role in this arc. And, don’t forget the most dramatic fight of the entire series, Toji versus Gojo is going to be animated in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. The arc is small but packed with action & dark mysteries.
