Jujutsu Kaisen Teases Potential Death of Another Key Character
Being a Jujutsu Kaisen fan is tough, no matter if it’s anime or manga medium, trauma and suffering can be experienced throughout the series. While fans still haven’t recovered from the Shibuya Incident arc mayhem, series creator Gege Akutami seems to have decided on the grim fate of another popular character.
In the latest Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 251, readers get to see a couple of thrilling events involving the showrunners Yuji, Sukana, Yuta, and Megumi. However, the main event of the show was the arrival of fan-favorite character Maki Zenin as she stepped in to fight Ryomen Sukuna.
Wielding her powerful Katana sword, she catches Sukuna off-guard and successfully stabs him (just like Toji did to Gojo in the Hidden Inventory arc). Having been absent up until now, Maki’s sudden entry into the scene hyped up many readers, leaving them on the edge of their seats.
Following the chapter release, the enthusiasts took to social media to express their excitement and concern about the recent build-up. Many believe that Maki may suffer the same cruel fate as her supporting female characters who battled major villains only to meet tragic ends.
Given Jujutsu Kaisen’s history of villains brutally overpowering the series’ brave female warriors, fans worry the same cruel destiny awaits Maki. Although the outcome is still uncertain, Maki will probably meet an unfortunate end in the coming chapters.
Over the course of the series, Maki has become an even more beloved character, and seeing how the odds are stacked against her, fans are extremely concerned. Still, they desperately wish for her to survive the ultimate clash and break the tragic pattern of female characters falling to major antagonists.
While fans eagerly welcome seeing Maki back in action, they are also deeply concerned about her fate. However, with the manga reaching its climax and Maki entering the scene against the sinister “Demon King”, Ryomen Sukuna, everyone is looking forward to the battle.
