Fantasy isekai manhwa Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is reportedly getting an anime adaptation. Being one of the most viewed manhwa on Naver Webtoon’s official website, the series will soon be making its debut on the screens in animated form.

The news came from a reliable leaker on X (formerly Twitter) who mentioned that the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint anime is currently in production. After “Tower of God” and “God of High School”, this will be the next popular work of Webtoon to be adapted into an anime.

Written by Sing Shong, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint started as a web novel in 2018, and later in 2020 the series received a manhwa adaptation which is currently being serialized on Webtoon’s official platform. Further details about the anime adaptation haven’t been revealed yet.

The story follows Kim Dokja, a regular salary office worker who in his free time likes to read his favorite web fiction, “Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse”. However, when the novel’s last chapter is released, the world Dokja lives in changes into that of the novel!

Now, being the only person who knows how the world will end, Dokja utilizes his newfound understanding to alter the path of the story and the world as he knows it. With over 290 million views, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is the top-rated manhwa on Webtoon and can be read for free on the platform.
