Football Anime Blue Lock Episode 1 Premiered At Anime Expo 2022
The most anticipated sports anime of the year, Blue Lock is on its way to broadcast in October 2022 however, before the actual release Crunchyroll organized a special screening for the anime series. The producers of the series premiered Blue Lock Episode 1 at the ongoing Anime Expo 2022 which is a four-day event.
On June 2, streaming platform Crunchyroll arranged a panel for the premiere of the first episode of Blue Lock anime at the biggest event in North America, Anime Expo. Before the worldwide release of the anime television series in October 2022, the makers decided to showcase the series on a bigger stage and the fans who attended the premiere seemed pretty much excited.
Attendees shared some images & clips from the Blue Lock Episode 1 premiere featuring the main protagonist Isagi Yoichi in action. Besides, other side characters like Kira and Bachira were also seen in action. Fans were going crazy about the stunning visuals, animation, and smooth movements of the Blue Lock anime. The first episode of Blue Lock Episode has been premiered in North America only and it will be premiered in some other countries as well in the upcoming days. As the recording was prohibited in Anime Expo 2022 so complete episode cannot be accessed so, for now, enjoy these visuals and wait for the worldwide premiere of Blue Lock this fall.
Blue Lock Episode 1 Release Date
The first episode of Blue Lock anime is titled “Dream” and is scheduled to release in October 2022. Studio 8bit (also produced, Slime anime) will be in charge of the animation production of the series. Meanwhile, Tetsuaki Watanabe will direct the series and Taku Kishimoto (also worked in Haikyū!!) will take over as the scriptwriter for Blue Lock anime.
Talking about the voice acting cast of Blue Lock, new voices of the Japanese industry will join the cast of Blue Lock. Kazuki Ura will be the voice actor for the main protagonist Isagi Yoichi. Other members are Tasuku Kaito (Meguru Bachira), Yūki Ono (Rensuke Kunigami), and Sōma Saitō (Hyoma Chigiri).
Synopsis
Blue Lock is a sports manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The series is about a teenager, Isagi Yoichi who dreams of becoming the greatest striker in the Japanese football team.
One day a confidential football project called “Blue Lock”, invites Isagi and 299 other strikers from all over Japan to decide on the best striker in the world. To achieve his dream and make his name in the World Cup football team of Japan Isagi trains with these novice strikers to reach the pinnacle of his favorite sports.
