Solo Leveling Ended! Final Chapter Released
Popularly acclaimed South Korean web novel Solo Leveling finally came to an end this evening as the manhwa series has officially released its final chapter. Solo Leveling Chapter 179 served as the final chapter of the series and concluded the story with a peaceful ending.
The webtoon adaptation of Solo Leveling was serialized for the first time in 2018 and after that, it turned out to be one of the most successful manhwa series of all time. The series is written by Chugong and is collected into individual chapters published by D&C Media.
At the end of Solo Leveling chapter 179, there was a message from Jang-Sung-Rak aka Dubu, illustrator and CEO of Redice Studio. In the message, he thanked the audience and his fellow companions who helped him in the beautiful journey of Solo Leveling over the past few years.

Hello to all our leaders. I’m Jang Sungrak.
Thank you for loving our series despite its flaws. As I took on Solo Leveling as a new challenge, I was able to learn a lot of things. I’m really happy and also sorry at the same time for the love that we’ve reviewed this whole time.
In our journey to bring this series to an end, I would like to thank all our artists who have helped me, Park Mogoon who helped me by himself in Season 1 and Lee Mogoon who helped me by doing two people’s work temporarily for one to two months. Both of them have done a lot as they wanted this series to do well.
I would like to take this time to say that, without the passion and help from the two of them, I wouldn’t have been able to come up with such a good series. I would like to thank them for it.
Especially to Lee Mogoon, who was a colleague that was more important than anyone else, the most important colleague. He had stayed with me and worked on the series as he coloured the chapters until the very end. I would like to especially express my thanks to him.
I would also like to thank the author who wrote the original manuscript and everyone at Redice Studio and their partner company, D&C Webtoon Biz.
Solo Leveling follows the story of a guild hunter, Sung-Jin-Woo who is considered to be the weakest among the hunter groups. But, one day during a guild operation Jin-Woo encounters a tragic situation that turns his life upside-down and grants him the power to level up.
This memorable journey of Solo Leveling has finally come to an end and fans will always remember this story as one of the best webtoons they ever got to witness. It’s very unfortunate that we never got to see an anime adaptation of Solo Leveling but, if we get lucky then someday we surely will get one.
