Spy X Family Anime Release Date Confirmed! Scheduled For April 2022
Popular comedy & action manga series, Spy X Family written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo is getting an anime adaptation next year. Finally, the Spy X Family anime release date has been officially confirmed now and it is set to release in Spring 2022.
Just in, the makers of Spy X Family made it official that an anime television series will start broadcasting from April 2022. Moreover, WIT Studio & CloverWorks are collaborating for this series. Last month, anime key visuals featuring the main cast and a trailer was also released by the production. Check out the trailer below.
According to the official website of Spy X Family, Kazuhiro Furuhashi will direct the anime series meanwhile, Kazuaki Shimada will handle the character design of Spy X Family anime. Takuya Eguchi (also voiced, Yuuji Terushima from Haikyuu!!) will be the voice actor of Loid Forger aka ‘Twilight’. Other cast members will be announced at the JUMP Festa 2022 which is going to be held from Dec 18-19, 2021.
Spy X Family started serialization in 2019 and in no time, it sold out more than 12 million copies as of October 2021. After this big achievement fans started speculating about an anime television series and now, this news will give a sense of relief to them. It is one of the popular manga without an anime adaptation.
Synopsis
Spy X Family is a story about a brilliant spy named ‘Twilight’ who is tasked with a top-secret mission to explore the movements of Donovan Desmond, the president of the National Union of the East, a dangerous person who threatens East-West peace.
In order to accomplish it, Twilight is assigned to create a family within a week and infiltrate the social gathering of the prestigious school where Desmond’s son attends. Dressed as a psychiatrist Loid Forger, sets on a journey to find the best-suited family for his mission.
However, the daughter Anya he met turns out to be an Esper, who could read the mind, and his wife Yor turns out to be a hitman! Now, world peace is entrusted in the hands of this dramatic family.
Without revealing their true identity, they have to live together while keeping the mission on track. And, that will eventually bring up a series of hilarious events and overloaded cuteness of Anya that will be very exciting to watch.
