The Rising Of The Shield Hero released its new character teaser a while ago. It features the main protagonist, Naofumi Iwatani in the visuals. Season 2 is scheduled for April 2022 release, after being postponed in October 2021.

Rising Of The Shield Hero premiered its first season in 2019 and after its successful run, Crunchyroll announced its next installments by adding that The Rising Of The Shield Hero will have Season 2&3.
The series is produced by Kinema Citrus and Kaito Ishikawa (VA of Tobio Kageyama) is returning as the voice of Naofumi for the second season.
