To Your Eternity Review: An Orb’s Journey To Discover Life
The last six months of anime fans were very tiresome and traumatic seeing high voltage drama and action on continuous breaks. From getting out of this trauma, fans needed something relaxing and for this, we came up with something exciting, To Your Eternity review.
To Your Eternity is an ongoing manga written by Yoshitoki Oima. She is the same mangaka who created the beautiful piece of art, A Silent Voice. It began serializing in 2016 in Weekly Shonen Magazine and even won Kodansha’s Best Manga Award in the Shonen category in 2019.
In 2020, Kodansha announced an anime of To Your Eternity which was scheduled for October 2020 but it delayed due to Covid-19 and was shifted to April 2021. Studio Brain’s Base is handling the project of To Your Eternity who are well-known for their works like Durara!!, Blood Lad and School Babysitters.
Still, a lot of fans are not aware of this show and there could be many reasons behind this. Thinking about it, it was necessary to write a To Your Eternity review so that people who don’t even know about its name will get to know more about this wonderful series and calm their clumsy mind by the unexceptional story of To Your Eternity.
So, without wasting more of your time let’s get started with the To Your Eternity review.
What To Your Eternity Is About?
To Your Eternity is a little bit different and unusual from other Shonen animanga. As the creator depicted herself, it is a series based on the theme of death and immortality.
It follows the story of an ‘Orb of Light’, cast on Earth by an unknown person. At first, the orb takes the shape of a stone and then it takes on the shape of a dead wolf. In this process, he meets a young boy living alone in the harsh cold weather.
The boy mistook him for his pet wolf, Joaan and accompany him to cross the cold region so that they can meet their relatives and loves ones who left the village in search of a good place.
But, after being wounded on his way the boy takes his last breath under the roof with his final words to the wolf, “Remember me”.
From here on the Orb inherits the will and body of that boy and starts his journey to explore every part of the world.

Why You Should Watch To Your Eternity Anime?
After the premiere of To Your Eternity on April 12, 2021, it has become a debatable topic and fans are showing their interest in this show. The response of the fans towards this series is enormous.
They are going crazy about it and are willing to know more things related to this series as there is still a lack of hype among the fans towards To Your Eternity and it’s quite obvious because the numbers who have watched it is low compared to other anime airing out now.
Besides that, there are very good To Your Eternity reviews and positive responses of fans who are admiring this series. Let’s see what is so special about To Your Eternity that is making it such a best work.
1. A Great Start
The first episode is always the most important episode for any new anime series. It decides the faith of the series so making it stand out is very crucial for any anime.
And, To Your Eternity has done this job perfectly. It was Episode 1 of To Your Eternity that brought it to the limelight. The direction and storytelling in the first episode were so good that it made people cry. The impact of the debut episode of To Your Eternity on the audience was enormous and it can’t be explained in words.
Episode 1 gives you a clear picture of what the show is about. No action, no drama, just by showing the bond between the boy and his pet wolf the creator won millions of hearts.
It is seen to be rare in anime nowadays that’s why To Your Eternity is an anime to watch out for because it is not going to disappoint you from the very start of the series. One word for Episode 1 of To Your Eternity will be, perfection!! That’s enough to say about this shows excellence.
2. Shows Journey Of A Life
The concept of To Your Eternity is death and immortality, as mentioned above. But the anime is not just about these two words, it is something beyond that.
The Orb (whose name is Fushi now) is sent to Earth as a source of life just like we human beings came to this world. Fushi then begins its journey in an immortal state from being a stone, to a wolf and then finally a boy.
The transitional changes in his forms on every stage of life is just like a baby being raised as an adult and the changes it goes through during that period.
Fushi goes through transitional changes in his forms at every stage of life. He learns to eat from March, to read and write from an old lady, and many more things on his own.
All these things sound stupid if you look at them from a normal perspective but thinking about it deeply makes you realise how exciting and interesting this is. The way the creator has depicted the journey of life through Fushi is outstanding.
Even it is not like Jujutsu Kaisen or AOT or Tokyo Revengers, but still, you will feel like it’s about your own life story after watching this show. It is difficult to read and understand about the beginning of life, then why not give it a try to this series that opens up every secret about the origin of life.
3. Innocence And Cuteness Of March
March, not a month, is a character in To Your Eternity. She is a cute little kid from a tribal area, Ninanna. She debuted in Episode 2 and from that moment she has completely taken over the show.
The only thing that comes up in my mind thinking of To Your Eternity is, March’s innocent and charming face. She is the motivation for me behind this To Your Eternity review. She is so cute that you can’t resist her presence. Thanks to the voice actor of March, Rie Hikisaka who made this character more lovable.
Her playing with dolls and acting like their moms is a moment to capture. Her dream of being a grown-up just like her big Sissy, Parona and becoming a mom sounds too sweet. As March is very talkative, so she usually does the work of others who are silent at that time.
March’s character is so appealing and honest that falling in love with her is the first thing going to happen with you. She is not even the main character, still, her impact on the audience and the storyline is great.
So, even if you are not interested in watching To Your Eternity then just watch it for this adorable girl, March because she will bring a smile to your face every time you see her.
4. Builds Up An Emotional Attachment
Expressing emotions in words is always a difficult task to do and To Your Eternity is an anime flooded with emotional scenes. There are so many moments in just a short time that binding up your tears is almost impossible.
The death of the boy and his love and affection towards his pet wolf in Episode 1 was a moment that an anime fan can never forget. The separation scene between these two beings was so heart touching and emotional that it can make you cry in an instance.
To Your Eternity shows the value of bonds in a person’s life and the pain it causes after it breaks. It is not just a typical Shonen anime, it is even more. It teaches you some real-life lessons which can be helpful in your relationships as well.
5. Efficient And Clear Storytelling
The most effective story is the one that is delivered to the audience in the most simple way and To Your Eternity is a perfect example of this.
From Episode 1, it never felt like the plot is stretched or overly compressed. The story is very clear and simple from the start such that it is easy for people to understand it in a much better way. Whether its characters or the plot twists, the series has blended them elegantly and presented them in a more superior way.
It successfully conveyed the message to the audience in the most effective way possible as compared to other anime in which it takes usually 3-4 episodes for an average viewer to understand the concept of the series.
The credit for this level of perfection goes to the creator, the director & staff members, and Studio Brain’s Base for making To Your Eternity unique and exceptional from others.
