Being a Diclonius comes with a great deal of psychic abilities and Kaede boasts an incredible amount of power in her mad form “Lucy”, where she becomes an unstoppable maniac. Born with a pair of horns and telekinetic hands, she can be strong enough to destroy military helicopters.

Hyoubu Kyousuke is a rare character to play the central role of both protagonist and antagonist. Hailing from the group of anime psychics, Hyoubu is the most powerful high-level multi-powered Esper who can acquire the psychic powers of anyone dying around him.

Initially, Hyoubu only exhibits Psychokinesis but as time passes he comes in possession of different abilities like Electrokinesis, Teleportation, Psychometry, Pyrokinesis, and Hypnosis, making him the strongest character in the series.

7. Hitoshi Shinso – My Hero Academia

Coming from one of the prestigious schools in anime, Hitoshi Shinso has trained hard enough to develop his Quirk that allows him to put someone in a state where they are forced to obey whatever he commands, eventually meaning he can control others’ minds on his will.

The powerhouse of Hiei’s unmatchable strength is his “Jagan Eye”, which is one of the most powerful eyes in anime and gives access to a plethora of abilities, including controlling the minds of low-level demons and humans.

Hiei can also demonstrate a wide array of psychic abilities like telepathic communication, energy manipulation, pyrokinesis, and telekinesis. Once his Jagan eye activated, Hiei is almost unbeatable which is what makes him one of the most destructive anime psychics.

5. Shisui Uchiha – Naruto

Shisui is acclaimed as the prodigy and one of the most skilled Uchiha of his time. His mastery of the Sharingan rivalled that of Itachi’s however, in addition to the dōjutsu’s generic abilities Shisui gained access to a special genjutsu called “Kotoamatsukami”.

Using this ability, Shisui easily became a sort of psychic user as it granted him the ability to control the minds of his enemies enabling him to rewrite their memories, change their plans, or alter their perceptions, without being detected. As Shisui knew how dangerous it can be, he took his life before a catastrophe.

4. Tatsumaki – One Punch Man

One of the strongest anime psychics and Hero Association’s second-ranked S-class hero, Tatsumaki is the most powerful esper in the series capable enough to wield her gifted psychic abilities for offense, defense, or miscellaneous uses.

Known by her hero alias “Tornado of Terror”, she can easily lift and throw any item with her mind and can create psychic barriers so large that they envelop the whole city. Tatsumaki can also fly at great speed using her powers, and there are very few entities who stand a chance against her.

3. Tetsuo Shima – Akira

Tetsuo Shima started as an ordinary gang member but after a government agency kidnaps him and performs bizarre experiments on his body, his life completely changed. He started developing psychic powers which made him eventually one of the most fierce anime psychics.

The powers granted to Tetsuo made him powerful enough to destroy Tokyo and transcend other dimensions and planes of existence. However, the one thing which he never developed was control over his newly found powers, and completely lost his mind by the end of the series.

Shigeo Kageyama, best known as Mob, is one of the strongest kids in anime and he’s just 14 years old. At a very early age, Mob came to know about his phenomenal psychic powers enabling him to do a variety of things. But soon he realized that his powers are too strong to leave unchecked.

He has a plethora of abilities at his disposal ranging, including telekinesis, psychic energy absorption, transference, and astral projection. Only a handful of characters can hold their own against Mob in a fight and is almost impossible to be taken down in his enhanced power state.
