The bloodline of an anime character is one of the most interesting things to look over in a series as it gives a pretty decent idea about the upbringing of the character. The family background helps in determining the character’s prosperity in terms of strength & power however, some powerful anime families/bloodlines are even more ferocious than they sound.

There are quite a bunch of strongest anime families out there and they’re all very good at creating a ruckus. Every member of these family holds special significance and are very lethal in battles & rivalries. For example, each generation of the Zoldyck Family is as dangerous as the last one and the Joestars are the coolest bloodlines you can ever meet.

And, in this article, we’ll take a look at some of the most powerful anime families/bloodlines that stand at the very top of the chain. So, without any further ado let’s get started.

10. Zenin Clan – Jujutsu Kaisen

Starting the list with the Zenin Clan from the Jujutsu Kaisen realm. Zenins are considered to be one of the big three families in the Sorceror Society. They’ve set pretty high bars for their family members and if anyone lacks even a bit in it, they face heavy criticism from others. Not meeting the expectations of the higher-ups of the family means you’ll be rejected.

But, keeping it aside, many members of the Zenin family are indeed very powerful. The best example is Maki Zenin, who doesn’t have any cursed technique still, she is very skillful and dominates totally in a battle. Megumi, Toji, Mai, Naoya & Naobito are all essential members of the clan.

9. Elric Family – Fullmetal Alchemist

Elric family or to be more precise, the family of alchemists. Edward & Alphonse lost their mother at a very young age and went through a series of trauma still, they managed to reach remarkable heights in the field of alchemy. Ed’s talent leads him to become the youngest state alchemist in history. Al supported his brother with the limited set of skills and retained his body back in the end.

But, their family’s talent extends beyond just the brothers. Their father, Van Hohenheim was also a powerful alchemist, after all, he was a living human philosopher’s stone, which granted him both immortality and the ability to bypass typical laws of alchemy. Considering, the Father and Winry a part of this family, the potential talent in this family increases ten folds with their addition.

8. The Ackermans – Attack On Titan

Titans were said to be the most dangerous creatures in Attack on Titan but, the real devils are – the Ackermans. Levi Ackerman, the mightiest hero of Survey Corps, single-handedly took down the Beast Titan multiple times. The guy alone is a one-man army and despite his short height, he is way more superior than the rest of the corps members.

Another member of this bloodline, Mikasa Ackerman is also a hot-headed fighter who’s very skilled and talented. She has shown her abilities from time to time. And, last but not the least, Kenny Ackerman who appeared at the beginning of the third season and steal the show with a thrilling dual with Levi. The power & battle experience this bloodline beholds is remarkable and watching the Ackermans in action is indeed a treat.

7. The Hanma Family – Baki

The franchise of Baki has demonstrated some of the most brutal and deadly fights in history however, it also features the most powerful anime families/bloodlines. The Hanmas are nothing like a caring & loving family, generally, all of them are thirsty for each other’s blood and are willing to surpass each other in this attempt by any means possible.

Yujiro Hanma is hailed as the strongest anime character with no superpowers in the world. His strength has been compared to a nuclear impact and can crush an entire army with his bare hands. His children, Jack and Baki, both are not on good terms with him. Due to the toxic relationship between them, both try to eventually prove themselves physically superior to Yujiro. This family is just insane and can be labelled as the most craziest family.

6. The Uzumaki’s – Naruto

Uzumaki’s were the central focus of the Masashi Kishimoto’s entire Naruto & ongoing Boruto series. They’ve served as the main protagonists of the shows and the clan has a long history in Konoha village. One of the amusing facts about the Uzumaki’s is that they are capable enough to store a vast amount of chakra and are proficient in sealing jutsu.

Minato & Kushina put forward the foundation of this family and the two of them had a baby, Naruto Uzumaki, who followed on his father’s path and became the Seventh Hokage of The Hidden Leaf of Village. The strengths of Jinchuriki were passed upon him from his parents and he’s the most strongest ninja in all the villages.

Afterwards, Naruto married Hinata Hyuuga, a shinobi ninja experienced in the special technique called Byakugan. Their children, Boruto and Himawari, are both talented just like their parents and are still figuring out their own fighting methods. While Boruto has a brand new doujutsu called the Jogan, on the other hand, Himawari has inherited her mother’s Byakugan. This clan is undoubtedly one of the most powerful anime families/bloodlines.

5. Zoldyck Family – Hunter × Hunter

The world of Hunter × Hunter is very broad and interesting to ponder over and the Zoldyck Family is one such element. Their mere existence is very terrorising for anybody and there’s nobody more feared than the Zoldycks. Professionally, they’re a family of assassins who live on an isolated volcano called Kukuroo Mountain. Their speciality lies in the upbringing of their kids.

From birth, its family members are trained to execute people easily & effectively, escape from even the most dangerous situations, and are prepared to be immune to the poisons. Each member acquires a different set of specialized Nen attacks, and every single child – Illumi, Killua, Alluka, Milluki – is talented in a different set of skills. Even their staff is too tough to be taken down easily.

4. The Joestars – JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

Joestars can be classified as the coolest anime families/bloodlines out there which comprises some amazing characters. The whole series of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is based on the family saga of Joestars. Throughout the series, we’ve seen the members of the family in the main role and every time they’ve stunned the viewers with their extraordinary strength.

The Joestars are physically very fit having a bulking body figure and toned muscles. Apart from that, each one of them possesses a unique set of skills; some have mastered an energy-boosting ability like Hamon while others have Stands – a physical incarnation of a user’s life energy that can perform incredible feats. Indeed, the strength runs down in the family bloodline and all the Joestars are physically superior.

3. The Monkey’s – One Piece

The future pirate king, Monkey D. Luffy is one of the strongest anime characters and belongs to the star-studded cast of One Piece. He leads the Strawhat pirates and is a member of Worst Generation. But, he’s not the only one in his family who is infamous for his acts. His grandfather, Monkey D. Garp, was a marine vice admiral who was widely popular for his powerful fists.

Furthermore, Luffy’s dad, Monkey D. Dragon is the head of the Revolutionary Army and is one of the most mysterious characters in the series. His strengths & abilities are largely unknown yet, but he’s considered to be extremely strong and his few appearances have proved it to be true. In addition to his biological family, Luffy also has his adoptive brothers, Ace and Sabo who are both fierce fighters.

The Uchiha Clan was one of the most powerful shinobi clans in the Konoha village until Itachi Uchiha massacred most of them. However, the clan has given some great ninjas including the legendary Madara, Itachi, Obito, Sasuke and now, Sarada is leading the next generation. The most notable feature of this clan is that its members possess an unparalleled doujutsu called the Sharingan.

At its most basic level, Sharingan lets users copy other people’s jutsu and create illusions using genjutsu however, its evolved form, the Mangekyo, is even more lethal & dangerous as it has all kinds of capabilities ranging from the hallucinations to managing the space-time continuum. The Uchiha Clan has been the host of some powerful shinobi ninjas in history and the fans have witnessed their wildness.

1. The Son Family – Dragon Ball Z

When it comes to strength or power, then there is no one better than Goku himself. He is one of the sole surviving members of the Saiyan race, and also the strongest one too. Due to his multiple transformations and different versions of his signature move, Kamehameha, he makes it difficult for his opponents to stand a chance against him in a battle.

Now, when the father is that much strong then why not his sons will be and the same has been done by Goku’s sons, Gohan and Goten. Though it’s almost impossible to match the standards set by Goku, the Son family contains these two explosive young lads. Goten and Gohan, both have learned many skills and techniques from their father.

Gohan was able to defeat Cell in one of the biggest fights in the Dragon Ball history, while Goten is the youngest person to go Super Saiyan in the entirety of the series. Goku’s brother Raditz and his father Bardock are also very good although, they’re not as strong as the other members, but were still Saiyan warriors. The feats achieved by the members of the Son Family are pretty impressive and in a battle taking this powerful family down is out of the question.
