Vinland Saga Season 2 Is Getting Animated By Studio MAPPA
Studio MAPPA is the most busiest production house these days and it doesn’t seem to stop any sooner. With more than 6 major projects already on their 2022 bucket list, seems like MAPPA has added another anime into their arsenal, “Vinland Saga Season 2“.
Last year in July, on the completion of two years of the Vinland Saga anime television series, the makers of the series released a mini-clip from Season 1 on YouTube. The clip confirmed the production of Vinland Saga Season 2 is in progress and will be premiered very soon on the television screens once again.
In addition to it, an official poster was also released featuring adult Thorfinn with a blade in his hands. But, after that, there were no updates about the upcoming season and also no information about the production studio of Vinland Saga Season 2.
After, the sudden exit of WIT Studio from the Vinland Saga franchise everyone was concerned about the future of the series. But, this morning a reliable source on Twitter confirmed the good news that Vinland Saga Season 2 is going to be produced by Studio MAPPA.
According to the rumoured tweet, MAPPA will handle the animation production of Vinland Saga Season 2. Moreover, a trailer will also be released in addition to the official confirmation by the makers themselves. The core staff of Season 2 will be the same as Season 1.
However, the officials haven’t confirmed this news yet. But, going through the leaker’s past tweets you can be assured that MAPPA is surely going to animate another thrilling anime series. Vinland Saga is the second anime series, after Attack On Titan, MAPPA is taking over from WIT Studio.
MAPPA is already doing a lot of other projects which are going to release in the next two years. Chainsaw Man, Hell’s Paradise, Kakegurui Twin, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Yuri!!! On Ice Movie and now, Vinland Saga Season 2 is also included in its long list.
Currently, Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 2 is being handled by Studio MAPPA and they’re putting their best effort to give the best farewell to one of the most loved anime series. So, the animators in MAPPA are going to be a little more busier this 2022.
