As previously announced, Chainsaw Man Episode 1 will release on October 11th, 2022 at 24:00 (1:00 AM JST) on TV Tokyo and five other affiliated channels. Following the initial telecast, Chainsaw Man will sequentially become available on other streaming platforms. The supported platforms in Japan are ABEMA, Disney+ JP, Hulu JP, Netflix JP, dTV, and many more, however, the availability of episodes and release timings is subject to change.
The rest of the globe will be covered by the biggest streaming platform, Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll is the primary distributor and promoter of the series globally as they have owned the broadcasting rights to simulcast the anime. For people residing in Asia, the sad news is that Crunchyroll won’t be simulcasting Chainsaw Man but that doesn’t mean you’ll not be able to watch it! As per Chainsaw Man’s official website, the main distributors of the anime in Asian countries are – Bilibili, (only available in China), Animax Korea, and Ani-One (all Asian regions including India). To watch the anime on the Ani-One YouTube channel, you’ll need to join their Asia Ultra plan which costs around ₹119/month.
