But, his life takes a tragic turn when he meets Ryou Yoake, a member of the ReLIFE Research Institute. He offers him an opportunity to change his life but for that Arata has to go through an experiment.

An experiment that promises to make him appear 10 years younger and send him back to high school. With the help of this experiment, Arata gets a chance to experience youth once again besides, fixing the things he did wrong in the past.

Ikebukuro West Gate Park

Ikebukuro West Gate Park is series of urban mystery novels written by Ira Ishida. It was adapted into an anime in 2020 and gives the same vibe as that of Tokyo Revengers.

Banana Fish is a story about a 17-year-old gang leader in New York City, Ash Lynx. One day he comes across an unknown man who gives him a street address & a mysterious substance and dies in his hands by murmuring two words, “Banana Fish”- the same words Ash heard from his old brother after he returned from Iraq.

After this incident, Ash starts investigating the “Banana Fish” and comes to know about Japanese photojournalist Sunichi Ibe and his assistant Eiji Okumura. But, in an attack by a rival gang, one of Ash’s subordinate, Skip and the journalist gets abducted by the opposite gang.

Now, with the help of Eiji Okumura, Ash tries to solve the mystery behind the “Banana Fish”, besides rescuing his friends from the enemy hideout as well.

Orange

Another anime like Tokyo Revengers based on time-travel, Orange is an anime about Naho Takamiya who gets a strange letter addressed to her on the first day of high school. However, the letter is from herself- 10 years in the future!

Thinking of it as a prank, Naho forgets about the letter but as soon as she witnesses several events taking place as written in the letter, she realises that the letter was really from her old self in the future.

The letter indicates that her future life is full of regrets and pain. To correct the mistakes Naho has done in the past, she has to protect Kakeru Naruse at any cost because in the future he will not be with him. With the letter as her guide, Naho pledges to change her future so that she doesn’t have to regret it once again.
