Reincarnated As A Slime Movie Release Date Confirmed! New Trailer Released
Isekai anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” has finally received the release date for the theatrical debut of the first film of the franchise. The official Twitter account of Slime anime confirmed on Thursday that the movie will premiere in November 2022.
In addition to the release date, the makers of the series revealed the first key visual and trailer for the upcoming anime movie. The movie is titled “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Movie: Guren no Kizuna-hen”, and it will have an original story by the creator Fuse. Check out the trailer below.
The movie will feature a new original character named Hiiro from the Ogre Village, who has a connection with Benimaru. The story will be after Rimuru became a Demon Lord, and will be set in a new country called Raja.
This long-awaited movie adaptation is a completely new work by Fuse, who is in charge of the original story draft. Meanwhile, Studio 8bit is in charge of the animation production and Bandai Namco is the distributor of the film in Japan.
That Time I Got reincarnated As A Slime anime series is based on light novels of the same name, written by Fuse, and drawn by Mitz Vah. The series got adapted into an anime television series in October 2018 by Studio 8bit. The second season was released in two parts, airing both the parts in 2021.
