The series has just returned after a long break, and it’s again ruling dominantly in the manga community. With the introduction of the “Back to School” arc, readers have witnessed the new villain in the form of War Devil alias Asa Mitaka however, everyone is waiting for Chainsaw Man chapter 99.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 98 Recap

Chainsaw Man chapter 98 opened with a classroom scene where the teacher was introducing a headless chicken devil named “Bucky” to the class. He explained that Bucky will live for 100 days and at the end of his tenure one of the students has to kill him, however, as the time passes everyone gets attached to Bucky and they decide not to execute him.

However, one of the girls named Asa Mitaka accidentally kills Bucky which creates a tense environment around her. Everyone in the class starts hating Mitaka and just like always she begins to distance herself from others. But, on a contrary day, the class president visits Mitaka in hospital and explains how disgusting she feels about being around her.

The class president reveals that she made a deal with the Justice Devil and tries to take the life of Mitaka. As a matter of fact, Mitaka also makes a deal with a devil and transforms into “War Devil”, she unleashes her Tanaka spinal cord sword and finally settles score with Justice Devil. At the end of the chapter, Mitaka is seen babbling about Chainsaw Man and now he’s going after him.

Where To Read Chainsaw Man Part 2?

Chainsaw Man Part 2 will start its serialization on Shueisha’s Jump+ app. The manga will follow a weekly release schedule on the platform. New chapters will be available to read on the official platforms of Viz Media and Manga Plus, with access to the entire catalogue of Chainsaw Man requiring a subscription that currently costs new users just $1.99 a month.

However, fans can read the new chapter for free as both platforms allow users to read the first three and the latest three chapters of any manga for free, so you can read the upcoming Chainsaw Man chapter 99 without getting a subscription.
