Nezuko & Daki’s Cleavage Censored In New Demon Slayer Poster!
The final episode of Demon Slayer Season 2 is around the corner and the makers of the show are in full active mode to not miss out on any chance to make it a grand episode. Fans are very excited about the end and so does the stakeholders of the franchise. However, before the release of the last episode, a very eye-catching incident happened in Japan.
On Monday, January 31st, to commemorate the final phase of the second season of Demon Slayer the makers of the series placed large-scale advertisement posters all over the Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, Japan. The posters featured Tanjiro, Nezuko, Tengen, Gyutaro and Daki from Entertainment District Arc.
But, the odd thing about the posters was the censorship of some characters. On a close look, it was observed that specific lines were drawn deliberately to hide the cleavage and underclothes of Nezuko and Daki. Check out the posters from Shinjuku Station below:
According to some fans, the posters has been censored to avoid any kind of backlash from the public. This sounds true to some extent as a few days ago controversy over Nezuko’s Demon Form was trending on social media platforms. Seems like it reached the production committee who don’t want to take any more chances.
Demon Slayer Season 2 has already been in a lot of controversial news in the past few weeks. Whether it was Daki’s bold character design or allegations of promoting polygamy in the show, the series caught the eyes of the media every time. So, the makers are alert this time to avoid any kind of commotion.
