Solo Leveling Anime Trailer And Key Visual Officially Lifted With The Premiere Date
The most popular South Korean manhwa written by Chugong is finally going to be a reality as an anime adaptation for Solo Leveling has been officially decided. Streaming platform Crunchyroll announced the anime television of the manhwa series which is set to premiere next year and about it, the Solo Leveling anime trailer and key visual has also been lifted.
During the Crunchyroll Industry Panel at Anime Expo 2022, the producers decided to lift the mystery from the suspicion regarding a Solo Leveling anime and they did so. At the end of the panel, the makers of the series showcased a teaser of the upcoming anime and also, confirmed the Solo Leveling anime release date which is set to premiere in 2023. Studio A-1 Pictures (Kaguya-sama, Sword Art Online) will be in charge of the animation production alongside Aniplex as producers. Solo Leveling anime will stream next year on Crunchyroll. The production staff of Solo Leveling anime has also been revealed and well-known faces from the industry are helming the series at A-1 Pictures with Sword Art Online director being on board. The creator of the series, Chugong released a special message to commemorate the anime announcement of Solo Leveling. Chugong stated, “About six years ago when I was writing the very beginning of Solo Leveling, if someone had said to me, “The novel you wrote will become a comic,” I bet I’d have told them to stop pulling my leg. But now, I’m told that it’ll be animated?!”
“Seriously, I’m feeling excited and thrilled. Since I’m still half-doubting that this is real, I want to see Jinwoo and the other characters get animated soon and feel relieved. I’ll keep working diligently while looking forward to that day,” he added.
Synopsis
Solo Leveling is a popular South Korean web novel that has been lately adapted into numerous media forms like webtoon, manga, games, and a drama adaptation, which is in production. It is one of the best manhwas and tops the MAL list of ‘Top 50 manhwa’. The web novel is originally written by Chugong is illustrated by Jang-Sung-Rak (aka Dubu), the CEO of Redice Studio.
Solo Leveling follows the life of the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind, E-rank hunter Sung Jin-Woo who takes a dangerous job like raiding the monster dungeons in an attempt to not get killed. Unfortunately, between his mother’s hospital bills, his sister’s tuition, and his lack of job prospects, he has no choice but to continue to put his life on the line. But, one day during a guild operation Jin-Woo encounters a tragic situation that turns his life upside-down and grants him the power to level up.
