A popularity poll is a great way for fans to show their support for their favorite characters and a recent poll conducted by Weekly Shōnen Jump shows off the winner of the third popularity poll of Jujutsu Kaisen. So, without any further ado, let’s get started with the rankings.

10. Choso (1748 Votes)

Choso is the only cursed spirit to be featured in the first ten of the Jujutsu Kaisen popularity poll. First introduced as one of nine Death Paintings, Choso played an antagonist role for quite a time but his positive image began to spread in the community as soon as he joined forces with his so-called brother, Yuji Itadori.

Following the Shibuya Incident arc, Maki’s enhanced strength and her masterful sword skills gave her an edge over the other supporting cast. She became a powerful threat to even the strongest cursed spirits, making her a valuable asset in the eyes of the fanatics.

8. Inumaki Toge (2459 Votes)

In the entirety of anime verse, there are only a handful of characters who’ve made a name for themselves just by saying mere two or three words – Inumaki Toge is one of them! Being one of the handsome white hair anime characters, Toge is the heir to the cursed speech of the Inumaki clan.

He initially appears to be distant and intimidating but, beneath his calm and somewhat aloof persona lies a very insightful and caring individual. For a very long time, he’s absent from the current manga timeline still, the love in his admirer’s heart hasn’t even lessened a bit.

7. Nanami Kento (2541 Votes)

Nanami serves as a perfect resemblance to a fed-up middle-aged man who hardly shows any interest in his job. That doesn’t make him weak though in fact, he’s one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. His flawless control over the cursed energy is yet to be matched by anyone else in the series.

Nanami’s innate cursed technique, “Ratio” allows him to slice through cursed spirits with his signature blunt blade. Besides, he’s also the joint record holder for the most consecutive uses of Black Flash which eventually makes him one of the most-voted Jujutsu Kaisen characters.

6. Naoya Zenin (2858 Votes)

Naoya Zenin has gained significant popularity for unknown reasons following the aftermath of Shibuya. From getting a manga volume cover feature ahead of Maki to getting enlisted in the top 10 of the Jujutsu Kaisen popularity poll is a remarkable feat for an antagonistic character like him.

Overall, his popularity stems from a combination of his charismatic personality, complex motivations, and appealing character design which adds depth and excitement to the Jujutsu Kaisen verse, leaving a lasting impression on the fans of the series.

5. Yuta Okkotsu (2942 Votes)

The protagonist of the “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” movie, Yuta Okkotsu comes at number five on the popularity poll results. Introduced as the bearer of the queen of curses, Yuta was initially classified as a special-grade sorcerer despite having no prior experience. He was even considered to surpass the almighty Gojo Satoru as well.

He started off as a shy and fragile boy but grew up to become one of the most feared Jujutsu sorcerers. Yuta has an arsenal of abilities under his sleeve and to top it off, he’s a distant relative of Gojo and a descendant of a powerful Jujutsu source spirit which makes him a gem indeed.

4. Geto Suguru (6487 Votes)

Suguru Geto is evil – this should be clear by now to the fans of the series who’ve experienced his wicked side. The infamous tales of Geto are not hidden from anyone however, he’s still the fourth most beloved character – thanks to his firm supporters and fangirls.

He’s categorized as one of the racist anime characters and his ideals are in total contrast with the Jujutsu world. In the past, his repulsion towards humans led him to massacre over a hundred civilians in a single night. But, no matter what, Geto still shines like a star in the eyes of his admirers.

3. Gojo Satoru (11,591 Votes)

Not seeing Gojo Satoru in the top two might come as a shock to his fans but let’s face the reality, how can a guy be eligible for votes when he’s missing from the plot!? The handsome and stylish mentor of Jujutsu Tech, Gojo is recognized as the strongest sorcerer who ever existed.

His glamorous face, quirky attitude, godly strength, and most importantly his beautiful eyes have made many lose their minds. Gojo needs just a snap of time to pull off a feat like taking over a show despite not being its legitimate protagonist.

2. Yuji Itadori (24,038 Votes)

Yuji belongs to the class of protagonists who’re so ill-fated that they don’t stand atop the popularity poll even with the tag of hero. Nonetheless, he’s still the second most favored candidate in the ranking charts which is a great achievement in a colorful cast of Jujutsu Kaisen.

His journey from a weakling transferred student to becoming the vessel to the most powerful cursed spirit is engaging and inspiring at the same time. Not everyone has the courage to risk their lives and fight evil by being one themselves, and Yuji’s heroics set a benchmark in the modern era.

1. Megumi Fushigoro (30,059 Votes)

Being a member of the powerful anime bloodline comes with great responsibility and Megumi lives up to the legacy. For the second time in a row, Megumi is crowned as the most popular Jujutsu Kaisen character which shows his merit as a supporting cast.

He’s a pretty likable handsome lad inheriting his line’s “Ten Shadows” technique. His outwardly stoic, aloof, and calculating nature combined with his uniquely styled hairstyle and neutral facial expression makes him a love interest of many fangirls and the formidable Ryomen Sukuna.
