Wonder Egg Priority Producer Hospitalized Due To Overwork
Wonder Egg Priority came this winter with very high expectations and hopes for the show. All the anime watchers enjoyed the show and praised it for its wonderful animation.
The series was a very rare one as it didn’t draw inspiration from any manga or light novel. So, the job was quite difficult and challenging to animate it and its overwhelming results can be seen on the producer’s health!!
According to a rumored tweet, the animation producer of Wonder Egg Priority, Shota Umehara, had to be hospitalized twice during the production of the final episode of the series.
The tweet said,
“The producer that, even after getting wheeled into an ambulance twice, got a drip at the hospital and came back 5 hours later to run the studio:
It’s wonderful to have something that is more important than your life” -Shota Umehara”
Later on, the tweet was deleted and the user account, who uploaded it, as well.
Here is the deleted tweet:
Not just the producer, other animators working on the show are also facing serious health problems. On many occasions, they expressed their feelings working towards the series.
Not getting enough sleep was common among them. One of the staff members said, “On average, every animator working here has lost around 10 kg of weight.”
As Cloverworks was working on Horimiya and The Promised Neverland alongside Wonder Egg Priority so the burden on the animators was more.
They were forced to complete all the projects in a very limited time allotted to them. After results were clear after such extreme troubled work by the animators and other staff members.
Problem-related to the health concerns of the animators working towards our favourite show has raised time to time. But, it is still not pointed out effectively and it requires a serious debate on this topic.
Meanwhile, Cloverworks has not officially released any kind of statement on the animation producer’s health and they are still silent on this incident. Are they trying to hide the truth?
