Jujutsu Kaisen Movie Coming To United States Theatres On March 18
After breaking many records and holding the top position on the Japanese box office, the Jujutsu Kaisen movie is all set to release in North America very soon. The confirmed date has been decided, and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will begin premiering in March around the theaters of the United States, Canada & many more.
As per the reports, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is confirmed to be released in the nearby theaters of South Korea and Hongkong starting Feb 2022. Regarding it, the company released promotion posters as well to share this news with the fans residing in the mentioned region.
Moreover, it has also been confirmed that the film will release in the United States as well and the premiere will begin on March 18. AMC Theatres have acquired the rights to display Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in the nearby theatres of US. However, the official release dates for other North American regions still hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Well, it’s such good news for the anime community as ‘Demon Slayer: Mugen Train’ took almost 7 months to release in US theatres however, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is releasing there in just 2 months of its initial theatrical release. So, it can be expected that the film will be released in other regions as well very soon.
The film is based on the manga series ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’ written & illustrated by Gege Akutami. In the movie, Megumi Ogata is voicing the lead role of Yuta Okkotsu. The supporting cast includes Kana Hanazawa (Rika), Mikako Komatsu (Maki), Kōki Uchiyama (Inumaki), Tomokazu Seki (Panda), Yūichi Nakamura (Gojo) and Takahiro Sakurai (Geto).
It follows the story of Yuta Okkotsu who gets possessed by the cursed spirit of his childhood friend, Rika. Unable to control Rika’s violent behavior, Yuta is helpless to stop the bloodshed that follows from her brutal vengeance.
As a result, Yuta wishes to be completely isolated so that no one else can get hurt. But, due to his extraordinary strength and immense cursed energy, Gojo Satoru enrolls him in Jujutsu Tech so that he can learn about the existence of cursed spirits and become used to his powers.
Now a first-year at this school, Yuta starts to learn Jujutsu arts and combat malignant spirits. Alongside his new classmates Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, Yuta begins to find his place in the sorcerer’s world. However, very soon, Yuta comes to learn that the dangers of the Jujutsu world go far beyond that of evil spirits.
